Villa Giulia

Positive: The villa itself is stunning, full of vintage charm, beautiful tiles, and well-equipped kitchen. Master bedroom with marble en suite and four-poster bed was amazing; other rooms worked well for the group. Gardens are beautiful and peaceful. Host was incredibly understanding, attentive, and resolved a small issue with professionalism and care. Dogs are friendly and well-cared-for (if you like dogs!). Overall a relaxing, charming place to socialise. Negative: Internet/Wi-Fi didn’t work inside the villa; you needed to step outside for signal. Housekeeping came by frequently, which may affect privacy. Minor hiccup with a repair visit (host handled it excellently). Google Maps wasn’t reliable for finding local restaurants some places appeared open but were closed. We ended up getting takeaway pizza from the Magic Castle. Stairs may be challenging for some guests. Tips for future guests: Keep any special or valuable items out of view during repair or maintenance visits. Bring snacks or plan ahead for meals, especially if arriving late or on weekends when nearby restaurants may be closed　(ring ahead as Google maps isnt accurate).
