Relaxing in a secluded mountain area. Complete peace with no sounds other than bird song. Positive: We were self-catering so we took groceries with us. Closest supermarkets were in Torgiano. Although the property is listed as in Bettona, the latter place in itself is dormant with no commercial activity. The apartment is completely isolated on top of a steep hill, so it is ideal for someone who wants to get away from it all. Perfect if you are an author who has pages to write or transcribe, or want to catch up with your backlogged office emails in a very secluded place, with a cup of hot brew. Our apartment was spacious, with two showers, and after cooking your meals you can enough them in your fenced patio. Negative: On our arrival to the apartment with drove over a very rough dirt track, and were very preoccupied that we might damage the undercarriage of our vehicle. Hence my very strong advice for visitors is to seek as a location on Google Map the name Tomba Ipogea Etrusca Bettona. On arrival to the site ALWAYS take the mountain track listed as 51 Via Montelino, using a private residence as a marker. Go on its right hand side uphill. This is a 3 minute 40 second drive, most of it is asphalted surface except the last 180 metres that are levelled dirt track, where you should driven with caution. Honk your horn in blind corners covered with vegetation.

Positive: Martin the owner was so great and pleasant. The appartment was 2 min from main road but still gave the feeling you are alone in the mountains. Negative: The water flow rate can be improve.

Calm, beautiful, rustic hillside Positive: Amazing place. Wonderful surroundings. Got the borrow the e-bike which was great for exploring the nature and hillsides. Thank you for this beautiful place. Could improve on some internal features such as amenities, kitchen/decorative touches etc. but while there is some room for improvement, I don't mind the rustic feel to it. There's a charm to that also. This said, it's overall a spectacular place.

Un soggiorno da favola! Positive: Bellissima casa in un luogo stupendo, in mezzo alla natura, lontano dal caos. La pulizia era eccellente così come la cortesia di Martin, il proprietario. Letto comodissimo e cucina e bagni attrezzati con tutto il necessario e anche oltre. Sicuramente consigliata! Negative: Niente
